The high end Swiss cruising catamaran invites you to the “Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes”, September 6 - 11.

Geneva, September 5, 2011 - Swiss Catamaran Concept invites you to discover the new high-end cruising catamaran S2C 55, produced by SCC and designed by Sebschmidt yacht design, at the “Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes”, September 6 – 11.

The S2C 55 is a top of the range cruising catamaran that combines comfort, performance and seaworthiness. Its basic philosophy is to be delivered from the yard ready-to-sail, and with no hidden costs. She has been specifically designed with blue-water cruising in mind.

The Swiss Catamaran Concept can be personalised by her owner. Whilst the basic structure - including hull design, deck layout and carbon spars - is fixed, the fit out, colour and choice of wood for the interior can be adapted to the client’s wishes.

Two S2C 55 already sail in the Mediterranean whilst the construction of a third unit will begin in October in Antalya, Turkey. The latter will incorporate more carbon fibre than its predecessors and will therefore be lighter and stiffer, according to its owners’ desires.

The S2C 55 has already been presented at Düsseldorf’s Boat Show and showcased at the Palma and La Grande-Motte boat shows this year. Building up from its success, yacht designer Sébastien Schmidt and Swiss Catamaran Concept have since developed a new catamaran, the S2C 45. Fast and confortable, yet smaller than the S2C 55, the S2C 45 is aimed at couples, families or smaller crews.
